Rupert Murdoch writes down value of Sun newspapers to zero

I think he owns some papers in the states as well as the Fox comedy channel.

The Sun is the best selling paper in the UK and the least trusted it really is something that you wouldnt wipe your arse with and at zero it is probably still overvalued.

But a great indication of the way print media is going.

The News of the World illegally targeted the missing schoolgirl Milly Dowler and her family in March 2002, interfering with police inquiries into her disappearance, an investigation by the Guardian has established

The activity on the phone gave her parents hope that she was still alive. The News of the World was basically the sunday edition of the Sun and they just rebranded it to the Sun on Sunday.

It turned out that it was standard practise for the tabloids and they have had to pay out millions in compy. Cases are still being heard.
