FYI...The USA does not require those who are applying for citizenship to give up the citizenship of the country of their origin. It is usually the laws of other countries that do not accept dual citizenship. China, Russia, India, and Brazil are examples of countries that do not accept dual citizenship. If you becime American, you are required to give up or "surrender" your previous citizenship.
