The PAPER OF RECORD, the New York Times Issues Correction After Claiming Satire Website Babylon Bee ‘Trafficked in Misinformation’!!!!

The New York Times recently updated a piece on Facebook’s moderation of satire, removing a claim that Babylon Bee “trafficked in misinformation.”

The New York Times, in the middle of a court battle over allegedly defamatory articles, which, according to a judge, said reporters failed to note that they inserted opinions, made the update and issued a correction after receiving a demand for a retraction over claims about the Babylon Bee, a satire website.

Also from the article; All reference to the Bee was removed, except for in the correction. “An earlier version of this article referred imprecisely to the Babylon Bee, a right-leaning satirical website, and a controversy regarding the handling of its content by Facebook and the fact-checking site Snopes,” the NY Times said in the correction.
Do note the inclusion by the NYT of the description of the BB as 'a right-leaning satirical website'. Should one search the NYT archives for reference(s) to 'left-leaning' in ANYTHING? Probably not, to the NYT, LEFTism is the water they swim in, in other words, normality!

Well the "right-leaning" description was not really necessary since we already know if it involves satire or humor of any kind, it's most definitely not left-leaning considering the left has absolutely zero sense of humor, and zero capacity for self-deprecation in the name of humor

George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield and Sam Kinnison would have a field day with the stuff they could crack jokes about if they were resurrected in 2021, right up until they did their first show and got promptly cancelled by angry offended leftist groups taking to social media. Just like they did to Dave Chappelle's comeback, and to Louis C.K.'s career. And likely why Eddie Murphy seems to have changed his mind about returning to standup. Can you imagine anything like "Raw" or "Delirious" being performed in 2021? Chappelle was literally excoriated on social media and leftwing news outlets for his rather benign standup act in 2019, compelling Netflix to issue a statement disclaiming his content.

It's a sad world we're living in right now where pretty much all humor is targeted for eradication by one leftist victim group or another.
