I dont even have the words to respond to this.
A British-Israeli woman who was held hostage by Hamas in Gaza for 15 months says she was detained for some time at United Nations facilities.
In a statement, Unrwa said claims that hostages had been held on UN premises were "very serious" and that it had repeatedly called for independent investigations into claims Palestinian armed groups, including Hamas, were misusing the facilities.

I wonder if anything will come of this?

The UN started out, possibly as a good idea, but it's charter was not written in a way that would keep it a good idea.

I think, it is useless, at least for America and democratic countries, often thought of as "the free world". Though, it is fine for totalitarian, central strongman or religion controlled countries, keeping their interests and ideals safe. I think we should cut down the money and involvement, from our side, and ignore them.

Just look at who sits on the UN Human rights Council

United Nations Human Rights Council - Wikipedia

South Africa, who just voted to steal land from their remaining white citizens, Cuba, a place where people still try to leave due to political oppression. Sudan, a failing leftover Cold War Clusterfuck State, and China, the last of the Commies.

Glad to see, you tend to agree.

Turn the UN building into a homeless shelter.

"The UN Building. Hmmph. They turned it into low-rent housing."
