While I would be pleased to live in a world that has no conflict, I have lived long enough to know that we will always have some dispute somewhere in the world that we will be involved in... Think about it... People put out for hire the shit they don't want to do... And it's progressively getting worse... Folks don't do the maintenance on their homes or automobiles like they used to, and the list is longer...
Think of the mercenaries as world security guards, just like ones you see at the Grocery Store or Schools...
