The urgent call to action comes as the city grapples with a disturbing statistic: one New Yorker is dying every three hours due to drug overdose.

What? So much for crime/illegals/drugs being a perception problem. Can't wait for these clowns to recommend carrying guns, you know, just for your own protection.

The statist lefts attempt to "Build Back Better" has not appeared to have worked out like they had originally intended it to. This is what happens when fantasy minded self centered folks vote into office other fantasy minded self centered folks. The blind leading the blind comes to mind here. Always vote into office folks that have at least a fairly comprehensive understanding of the human condition(human nature) as well as a reasonable understanding of the field of sociology, ESPECIALLY HISTORICAL SOCIOLOGY & one can avoid creating another NYC.

Asking everyone to carry Narcan in their pocket to save the life of someone overdosing on an opioid, makes sense...ONLY, ONLY IF, the citizens are also advised to carry a gun for self-protection.
