Laying on cash for the recession is my guess. Either way, this is why I only ever really invested in the distribution side of oil and gas---pipeline operators and such. Not quite as volatile.

Yeah I hear ya....
I got crushed in forex a few years ago when the dollar strengthened against the pound. It was great to have more spending power in the dollar but it sucked to lose all that money betting on the pound.

If gas doesn't drop in the next week then we are all being gouged. Hell, gas went up 8 days ago in my area, before oil dropping. We'll see in a week.
