here's a couple of random thoughts that i just came up with :
(for your proper consideration and commenting).
(i promise not to press these ideas onto others, i'll just allow people to disagree with me in this thread, in real life, and on fb where i'll be posting a link to my 4.3K audience there, and forward that to top US and Dutch political parties and media organisations).

China and the US are at odds, with China publicly aiming to rival the US even in military ways, as proven by it's military and 1930s-Germany-style expansion of international infrastructure under the guise of economic development, and the often attached surveillance society, which can be used to disable any resistance from civilians to even military draft orders issued by many governments on Earth (in a certain region, for an unpredictably long time).

i think it's a recipe for dozens if not hundreds of years worth of proxy wars, which i have a very tough time digesting.

i beg Trump and all other (top-)politicians on Earth to properly consider the fate of their own soul in the afterlife,
before just keeping the "military machine" "running", meaning : causing horrible harm to many, and often.

I am naturally well aware of your perspective .
I am suggesting that they are like onions --- multi layered .

This suggests that their outward "face" is nationalistic .That keeps Sheeple feeling happy and attached .
But their most important motivation is to keep the Sheeple Herds divided with created phoney divisions .

Meanwhile they pursue the One Per Cent Agenda through their Intel Agencies and Private Contractors which siphon funds and resources for their own wealth and further power .
It has been going on for at least three/four thousand years so they have become very suave and savvy operators .

i've given this statement of mine considerable thought now,
and i have to admit that given enough time, great things can indeed be built, and be reliable.

but a unified world order? i don't see that happening within 100 years at least.

Trump will use STRATEGIC TARIFFS to let Xi Jinping know who is the boss. China's economy is much more unstable than the US and Trump knows how to use that to our advantage.

the Chinese can't handle slaps in the face very well, but i'm very willing to see if Xi and Trump can get along after what may need not be more than a slap on the wrist (the comments by Trump about Chinese trade-deficit 'stealing' during the last winter of his 1st Presidency).

You know, I honestly can't think of any compelling reasons why we and the Chinese can't get along. How they run their country isn't our business. Taiwan isn't our business. China hasn't launched attacks on any of our allies. I think there's a whole lot of tension stemming from nothing more than a sort of unfounded paranoid fear of China's recent growth. Their economy is doing well, naturally they're going to invest that money in, among other things, their army. That shouldn't really concern us.
