Following a crackdown aimed at Hamas affiliated students by Fatah's security forces, on Thursday AFP reported that Human Right Watch had accused the Palestinian Authority of brutally suppressing political expression in the West Bank.

"It is deeply worrying that students are being held by Palestinian forces for no apparent reason other than their connection to Hamas or their opinions," said Sarah Leah Whitson, HRW's director for the Middle East and North Africa.

Thing is, if the "Arab Street" is allowed to determine the future of the hapless "refugees," we will see decades of suffering. It is time someone among them take the bull by the horns and do what is necessary to save them from themselves.

I Think its Israels fault Fatah/Hamas got in a position of power in the first place.
