Do you look down on pathetic people? Interestingly, governments and bullies thrive on them. A large number of successful criminal prosecutions is successful, because the defendant is pathetic.

For example, mental slowness is a help for police during interrogation. Childhood abuse history makes interrogation easy. And in prisons, most inmates have childhood abuse histories.

What do you do when you speak or deal with pathetic people?

Here is another example of pathetic targets. In school some wise guy invents to write a piece of paper that says that who signs it owes him money. Then he collects signatures. Usually a couple of signatures are obtained easily. All those who signed seem to fit the category of pathetic. How many people would take their money?
