Possible Ebola Patient In Maimi

The link says "Ebola unlikely".

A child visiting from West Africa is suffering from flu like symptoms was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach them transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Jackson is treating it like a major Hazmat event.

Maimi? Is that in Fowarda? :)

You realize there's bubonic plague in the US and has been all along right? Some Americans die from it every year. See anybody writing about that, or covering it on the news? No.

Hospitals are taking extra precautions and rightfully so. If the patient was in Ebolaland they are treating it as Ebola. The case in Maryland ended up being Malaria which is similar.

Just so long as the US handles it in such a way that we do not look racist to outside world. Liberal optics more important.

There are cures for bubonic plague. There are none for ebola.

They said they had this under control, If the kid does test positive for Ebola, these two paramedics
are shall we say "fucked" !!!!! Where is their protective hazmat gear.... Look they don't even seem to be wearing protective masks. I just hope that this is not an indication of how well the training went in the rest of the country.

Fortunately for the paramedics, the suspected Miami Ebola patient has tested negative. Now maybe Miami Beach Fire Rescue can review their SOP for dealing with suspected ebola cases.
