As for myself, I doubt they can overcome the Rhino in them. If they do this a second time which was nothing, like they did during Trump's first term when he had a GOP Congress, I don't see how the GOP can hold power anymore in 2026.

Trump will use his power to make sure congress rubber stamps everything he does. Every Republican congressman is scared of Trump. If you displease him he will do everything he can to hurt you politically. He owns the Republican party. He has the power to ruin congremman's careers.

Once he has the rubber stamp it will be intersting how he implements his promises.

We will see if congress was right in holding him back in his first term.

The Trump admin "MUST" come out strong & not just in the 1st week but during the 1ST DAY or both the all critical INITIATIVE as well as our American constituency's CONFIDENCE in pres. Trump will be rocked if not outright shattered. Nothing destroys confidence in ones man more quickly than to hear the bell for round one & within 10 seconds ones man is backed into the ropes & desperately covering up in an attempt to avoid getting outright KO'd! Pres. Trump MUST take the initiative IMMEDIATELY!!!

Pres. Trump has picked a pretty gifted admin. for sure. I have confidence in Elon Musk getting g'ment bureaucracy in a LEAN & mean condition. I am not so sure about RFK Jr. as health & Human Services secretary but I do believe that RFK Jr. can be a "team player". When it comes down to the illegal alien deportations/border wall issue & also negotiating an end to the Russian/Ukraine war this will largely fall into pres. Trumps lap. I DO HAVE CONFIDENCE in pres. Trump's ability to work with pres. Putin before events spin out of control & Heavy Weapons come into play(quality ambassadorship needed here). I do expect flak from the statist left regarding the illegal aliens/border wall as the statist left cannot win politically without the illegal alien numbers. We do not have long to wait for the opening of the Trump admin. coming on line, like pray for the best for all involved!

The statist left are currently "back to the ropes" like they are desperately trying to stave off their demise & their only defense available @ current is "obstruction". Hopefully the Trump admin. has done their homework so they can brush aside the statist left so the Trump admin. can get down to business. I feel your stress/concerns but don't let the stress bring U down. I have the highest expectations in the Trump administrations upcoming performance but being a realist I do expect some opposition/snares as most folks would also envision as it's just life in general.

I do not have confidence in Trump and the majority of his cabinet. I worry that Trump has neutralized the judiciary and congress as a check on his power.
But time will tell, how good or bad the Trump administration is.

One needs to keep an eye on BOTH the elected officials & bureaucrats. I can't blame any American for lacking confidence in g'ment @ all levels no less. I am keeping my eyes on the senate for if obstruction is coming to harass the Trump admin. it most likely will be coming from the senate, in my opinion.
