In a Republic, actually
“A massive military parade planned in Washington next month will cost an estimated $25 million to $45 million and will involve dozens of war planes, hundreds of Army vehicles and thousands of soldiers from across the country sleeping in downtown government office buildings, an Army spokesperson said Thursday.”

This is an example of government fraud and waste that needs to be eliminated.

A good military parade serves as a "fuck around and find out" warning to our less-than-friendly neighbors in the world. If they don't heed those warnings, the wars they cause usually cost us a hell of a lot more than a measly $45 million dollars.

China and Russia have massive military parades all the time.

I cannot recall ANY military parade in MY lifetime, in this country.
So, I say we are WAY past due for one!!!

So we are not broke as Trump claims.
Trump flips the bill on a lot of stuff from his own personal money.
He doesn't take any money from being President either.
And Musk shutting down all these corrupt government offices, saving this country close to TRILLIONS right now..........

I'd say we got a couple of bucks to spare for our well deserving military people.

What’s the fraud? I can see an argument for waste, in that it’s not really needed…but where is the fraud?

With that said that’s a wide range. And how ouch more is it then any other parade in Washington?

But your cult never cared about the billions that Autopen Joe sucked out of American taxpayers for the enrichment of Zelenskyy.

What price National Pride?

Up to now this is the only "pride" DC stood for.

Yes, he does take money for being president, but why you fucks fall for that lie is illogical. All Elon did was get more contracts for his companies at taxpayer expense and stop all investigations into his products, which have had many complaints and failures.
Military people get paid the same, no matter the job. The expense is that military vehicles tear up roads and take damage when driven on pavement, and the fuel you must waste to parade them.

And Trump is well known for not paying his bills and has had countless lawsuits over that issue.

Jun 13, 2019 — Ten city governments from Arizona to Pennsylvania say the president's political committee has stiffed them out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I’m sure plenty of the Left view a $45M parade for the US military as waste, fraud, and abuse and would rather blindly send $47M to Asia for Learning Outcomes or $42M to drive social change in Uganda. From that perspective, I’m willing to bet that most Americans would rather see $45M go to honor the Troops.

And you can be sure that the people who the parade is meant to honor will be more than happy to march in the spectacle.
