And that's exactly what happened. No one can honestly say otherwise.

I was thinking just yesterday, about the comparison of Biden's performance with the legendary debate performance of Ross Perot's incredibly stupid VP pick (Admiral James Stockdale) in '92, where the debate was supposed to show that the VP candidates were ready to fill the shoes of the president if need be. Stockdale instead demonstrated that he was ready for one step into a grave instead of one step into the oval office. They mention Stockdale here in this article.

Democrat delusions about Joe Biden’s fitness for office came crashing to earth at 9:03 EDT, when the cadaverous 46th president of the United States shuffled into the studio towards his assigned podium. Suddenly, half of America realized what the other half already knew: Joe Biden is not up to the job.

And it went downhill from there.

Biden’s voice was raspy and weak – the White House put out word during the debate for the first time that he “has a cold” trying to mitigate the damage – and he seemed to lose his train of thought in one of his earliest answers.

IMHO, Stockdale is the reason Perot lost that race.

Despite calls for President Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 race after his shaky debate performance on Thursday, a new poll has found that none of the top names being floated to replace him, including Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, would do better in a head-to-head matchup against Donald Trump.

There is no evidence to suggest that Biden will abandon his reelection campaign, despite polls consistently showing that voters think Biden, 81, is too old to serve a second term.

Seth Schuster, a Biden campaign spokesman, told Newsweek after Biden debated former President Donald Trump on Thursday that the president "is not dropping out."

Biden responded to critics calling for him to drop out at a rally in North Carolina a day after the debate, saying he "would not be running again if I didn't believe with all my heart and soul I can do this job."

A Date for Progress flash poll, conducted on Friday, found that the number of likely voters who think Biden should remain as the Democratic nominee for president has declined. The poll surveyed 1,011 U.S. likely voters, including 387 probable Democrat voters, and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

Another poll found only 51 percent of Democratic likely voters—think Biden should remain the party's candidate after his debate performance, down 12 points from early March.

The poll found that Vice President Kamala Harris was the most popular choice to replace Biden if he dropped out of the race.

However, the same survey found that neither Harris, nor any of the other Democrats being floated as contenders to replace Biden—including Whitmer and California Governor Gavin Newsom—would fare better than Biden in a two-way matchup against Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee.

Newsweek has contacted Whitmer's representatives via email for comment.

In a Biden-Trump matchup, the poll found 45 percent of voters would back Biden, while 48 percent would choose Trump. Harris would perform the same in a head-to-head matchup against the Republican, according to the poll.

Still within the error of margin, giving Trump plenty of time to crater and explode.

"Hitler with tits" had to steal the election last time and probably couldn't carry MI this time.

3 swing states are down the shitter if you kick the stammering pedophile to the curb (too late to change the ticket)... and all his campaign money.... phffft.... GONE.

You're soooooo (deliciously) fucked. :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301:

That is a beast. We live for many views of people in this world. Whores of Babylon. Destroying the Western world in this case. Detroit should be the greatest city in America right now. Many are going to die for this.

IMHO, Stockdale is the reason Perot lost that race.

Two reasons that Perot, who got 19% of the vote by the way, lost any chance of actually winning.

1) Suspending the campaign, which ended all the credible momentum he had built. Once he jumped back in, he lost a lot of his so-called "volunteers".

2) The horrendous choice of Stockdale. 99% of the population had never heard of the guy. Decorated Vietnam war hero, but completely out of his element in a VP presidential debate. He fell flat on his face, having trouble hearing, and much of the time looking like a deer caught in the headlights.
How Perot's team let Stockton be his running mate is beyond me.

Had Perot not backed out of the race, only to get back in, and chose a younger more known person, black guy, or white woman, or even an established past governor or Rep or Senator, it's possible in that three way race, Perot had a for real chance.
