ILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — A Maryland man who was shot and killed by police was armed with a rifle and ignored commands to show his hands and get on the ground when officers entered his home, police said Tuesday.

“Lemp refused to comply with the officer’s commands and proceeded towards the interior bedroom door where other officers were located,” the police statement says. “Upon entrance by officers into the Lemp’s bedroom, Lemp was found to be in possession of a rifle and was located directly in front of the interior bedroom entrance door.”

Authorities found a device designed as a “booby trap” affixed to the inside frame of Lemp’s bedroom door, police said. The device was intended to fire a shotgun shell at anyone entering the door, according to police.

This shouldn't be too tough to determine. If true the video should prove that out. If the sheriff's office refuses to release the video or claims there was no video, they murdered him.

Then there are two basic issues that can be addressed until then. We should ban no knock raids. They end like this far too often.

Secondly, this is the country Trump wants so we need to consider that also. Is it the country we want?
