The slumping Reds become the first team in MLB history to lose 3 consecutive games by the score 1 to 0 since the year 1960.

It's happened six times in the majors, four of those from 1908-17.

Cincinnati Reds manager Terry Francona explains, "I give up, these players can't hit the side of a barn. But we are a small market team on a small budget, yada, yada, yada, so what do you expect from us? Besides, everyone and his mother knows the Dodgers will win another world series this year and for the next 20 years, so what is the point? Who really cares? I know I don't"

Management agreed with Francona saying, "This team is seriously bad at baseball as the players are thinking of taking up basketball instead. They just need to pick a sport that the Dodgers don't play and stick with it. Maybe that way they can win someday at something again after decades of playing miserable baseball."

After the interview the Dodgers announced a new franchise basketball team that will begin playing in 2026. No word yet on whether the Dodgers will buy up all the greatest basketball players on earth like they do in baseball.

To date, the All Star team called the Dodgers are unbeaten with talk of possibly dividing the team in two to play each other for the coming All Star game in July.
