She doesnt have the a ability to comprehend basic principles but she is in a position that weighs in on laws?

There isn't one democrat that isn't a complete and total nut job.

Well, the ones that seemed logical like Tulsi Gabbard, they got rid of. Only pride filled demogogues and buffoons and screeching fools.

I'm afraid you may be right.
I tell ya wut, when it comes to that, the only video that counts is the Chris Rock one.

99.9% of people would have been booked in jailed if they did what she did. Let the cop write the freaking ticket and fight it in court if you think the cop is wrong.

I've been pulled over twice in my life, once for not coming to a complete stop and the other when my husband didn't put the renewal sticker on the plate. Both times I was polite and owned up to my own mistake. I got verbal warnings both times.

It doesn't have to escalate to something like this

I didn't watch it because I'm not in he mood to listen to someone do The Funky Chicken, but there is this --

elected representatives are granted "privilege from arrest" while traveling to and from sessions of Congress, meaning they cannot be legally stopped or detained during this time, except in cases of treason, felony, or breach of the peace.

Key points about this privilege:
  • Constitutional basis:
This protection is outlined in Article I of the US Constitution, which states that Senators and Representatives "shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same.".
  • Purpose:
This privilege is designed to ensure that elected officials can freely carry out their duties in Congress without fear of being obstructed by legal proceedings

LOL, she messed up by not asking to speak to the supervisor....
Actually that can work with cops. Especially if you know the protocol because you got several family members and friends that are LEOs. Think cops are doing wrong? Be a Karen. Ask to see a supervisor.
The way I see it is a certain percentage of 'em (because of the nature of the beast) tend to be goons first and reigned in by supervisors second. You gotta know your rights. They're not there to help you out with that much. They're there to make arrests. Usually the supervisors are much more professional than the goon squad.

For real? My thinking would be if a supervisor has to show up you getting arrested. I've never really had an issue with the po-po, but I'm good at following direction and being respectful.

Yeah well, sometimes life isn't a bowl of cherries.
I did nothing wrong, but got curbslammed by a cop after I let him handcuff me.
I asked to see a supervisor, he let me go.
He better hope I never see him again. Full force at his ass. And I know what he looks like, too, because I have a similar looking friend. One that's so down I could probably get him in on my revenge for this guy being his imposter.
Or maybe just cause how the cocksucker did me.
Yeah, that friend, that looks a lot like this cocksucker police that did me wrong, is just the type to back a cracker up to the motherfuckin' hilt if it gets real.
We won't talk about money. Oh,l I ain't doin' no money dealin's with him.

Usually what happens is you won't shut your pie hole, so they shut it for you. judging from your personality in posting, I would give it good odds that is exactly what happened. You seem like your name was Dindu Nuffin.

What were you handcuffed for in the first place? You left that part of the story out, conveniently.

Walking with a beer to a friend's house around the block.
They rolled up and it was bad.
And I thought I told your ignorant ass to STFU.

So, you broke the law, and then got mouthy. That's exactly like you did in your comment.
I never forget a face, and I know that one's face. His day will come.
No. He broke the law and violated my rights.
I don't have to do it.
There's this thing in this world called karma, and it is real.

Way to set the example for your constituents Regina Goodwin.

Let me help you out.

You have a constitutional right to remain silent.

Be polite.

You are required by law to present your license and proof of insurance to police officers.

You may choose to dispute the officer reasons for stopping you after you have identified yourself. I wouldn't advise it, but it's possible you may persuade the officer to issue a warning.

If you are issued a ticket...sign it. It is not an admission of guilt.

Hire an attorney. Even if it costs more than the amount of the ticket, it's worth it in reduced fines, reduced insurance costs and no points on your license. That's my opinion. I've gone to traffic court both with and without an attorney. Almost every time the cost was the same, but with the attorney my record remained clean.

Nah! You obviously mouthed off like you do in every post where you get shown up. He just corrected a bad attitude. In the Navy, we called that fan room counseling.
