I think I've finally learned why I never decided to have offspring. I think I was able to see ahead into this shitshow and realize that I didn't want to be a part of it.

Point is, they cannot even take care of themselves, so how can we ever expect them to take care of us? I have a niece who loves and respects me, and I hope she'll be here to see to my needs. Otherwise, I'll just sell all assets and live in a nice assisted living facility.
