I'm going to try this. I bet I have a dozen left gloves where I've wore the right glove out. I'd like to keep a right glove going until I get a left glove worn through...because I'm starting to believe left gloves are indestructible.

I don't know why but I have never had the patience to use a needle and thread, so God bless those who do... Story reminded me of Shucking Gloves... Ever seen any?

Is it worth doin'? Sure, if you're doing it on commercial breaks or while listening to talk radio or an audiobook...but in the roughly half hour to 45 minutes it takes to repair one, a fella could easily make the money to buy a new pair.

But, it was fun. These gloves are lined so there was no turning them inside out.

This was easy though. Enlarge the hole being covered, backstitch the bottom and then whipstitch around the edge.

I probably have at least a dozen left handed gloves scattered around outside. I almost never put one on my left hand unless it is to keep Jack Frost at bay
