Obamacare is leading to more inequality? Please explain.[/QUOTE]

It seems to have created a different access problem.

Liberals continually push to provide the essentials of living free for the poor. What that does is make being poor a viable option for a lot of people. Then the population gets poorer and the gap gets wider. Then, these very same people whine about it.

And what do you suggest? All this inequality is slowing our economy.

Make it so that the rich will be inclined to put the money to work, stop providing career opportunities in poverty.

Haven't we been doing that? Every time the repubs give them tax breaks they claim that will happen. It hasn't...

When was the last time we gave them a tax break? We still have the highest corporate taxes in the world. It costs businesses less to operate in any other country in the world.

Many businesses pay zero taxes. Remember the bush tax cuts?

The government needs to get the he'll out of the way.

I fail to see how that will help. Explain.

Rich folks are the only group that can afford to comply to government regulations. It's that simple.

Rich folks are the only group that can afford to comply to government regulations. It's that simple.

So regulations are killing jobs?
How so?

FACT: the U.S. Has the highest corporate taxes in the world.

FACT: US corporations pay an effective tax rate that is on par with other nations.

U.S. effective corporate tax rates are not a burden
The top statutory tax rate of 35% in the U.S. is somewhat higher than that of 30 other OECD countries, but the average effective tax rate — the actual rate paid after deductions and credits — is slightly lower than our competitors, according to theCongressional Research Service (CRS).

Several studies have found that U.S. corporations pay a similar or a lower effective tax rate — the rate actually paid — than corporations in other countries. For example:

Government over regulation is ruining America. Apparently, they are experimenting with doing away with it in Flint, Michigan. A little lead in the drinking water will toughen up kids, up there. Besides, the whole thing is good for entrepreneurs who sell bottled water. .

27.1% is not zero, as you claimed.

In spite of Obama.
And we're not getting our lost $60k back.

I think you exaggerate his influence.
Nope. He reimposed oil extraction restrictions which drove prices up. Those higher energy prices drove all consumer goods prices up.

He also did a lot for fuel economy which drove down demand for oil which would lower prices.
Obviously not enough if the average household lost $10k annually.

But now prices are really low. Again you exaggerate the presidents influence on the price of gas.
Nope. Not at all. This president affected oil prices in a bad way exactly in the same manner the previous president, with the reluctant acquiescence of a democrat congress, made prices drop.
This current drop is mostly in spite of obama's green energy bullshit. Fracking.
The ransom-paying deal with the extortionist criminal gang in iran has now exacerbated the drop on oil price. Thank ayatollah obama for that.

How does that work?

Well if I knew that I'd be doing it instead of what I'm doing now.

But the rate actually paid is about the same as most everybody else.

Like trickle down ecomomics? We already know that doesn't work.

That is the same left wing source you used before. I seriously doubt it's veracity, but it's beside the point. To shrink the gap we need to provide incentive for the 1% to put their money to work and to stop making poverty an acceptable lifestyle.

The Saudis have some control of oil price. The U.S. can't do anything to have a fldramatic effect.

Yes it has continued to grow inequality. And now we have so much the economy is slowed.
