In an odd twist, Gavin McLeod died at his home in Palm Desert California on the 29th. Two days later, actress Arlene Golonka also of Palm Desert, California passed away on the 31st (yesterday). She was 85.

Arlene was a veteran actress who appeared in everything from The Flying Nun and The Big Valley, to the Andy Griffith Show, Get Smart, That Girl, M*A*S*H, Cannon, All In The Family, Love American Style, The Mary Tyler Moore Show (with Gavin), Police Woman, Barnaby Jones, Maude, The Streets of San Francisco, The Rockford Files, Taxi, Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, The King of Queens, and much, much more.

She was so commonly widely seen across television in so many supporting roles that folks may have not have even noticed her.
