The AL part of PA
In this morning's paper in upstate PA there were thousands of provisional ballots in boxes not being counted because the State has not provided direction what to do with them.
All we were hearing was "count the votes" in Philadelphia....we need to address provisional ballots too.

Trump needs to get his legal team in court to count legal provisional ballots.

If there is any possibility at all that they could make a difference, yes they should be looked at and counted.

Provisional votes are often times not counted as they wouldn't make a difference. In some of the states being as close as they are they very well might.

This year? Yes. If they were postmarked by or dropped off on election day then they count. Period.

Just get over it. Trump lost. We're rid of him.

Now let's get back to fighting normal Republican/Dem stuff

In a couple months you can forget you ever supported the Orange Fool and just get back to hating liberals the way you always have

Tramp voted provisional ballot when he was unsure where his polling place was in NY.

This is the correct answer.

The problem there is both the Republicans and Democrats (and Trump and Biden) support the things hurting this country.

The things they differ on aren't going to change.

they should be counted once verified as legal, no matter if the tally shows a clear winner.

That is why they are called provisional.
Because they will be counted if the person has not otherwise voted.

Has nothing to do with just Trump or Biden. Those ballots contain votes for many local elections that may be closer

Trump and Biden are on those ballots.
As close as the PA election is, those provisional ballots might swing the PA election back to Trump.
But they need to be evaluated, someone needs to pull the trigger to start evaluating them.

"Because they will be counted if the person has not otherwise voted."

The person must also be eligible to vote. That's another reason provisional ballots are sometimes excluded. There were quite a few provisional ballots excluded in the 2018 election here in Florida because the voters simply weren't registered, or were otherwise ineligible to vote (felons without civil rights restored, residences/identities couldn't be verified, etc).

If someone just forgot their photo ID when they showed up to vote, their ballot is segregated as provisional, but would be counted once the two conditions you and I listed were verified.
