Very possible, IMO. We already have found civilizations thousands of years old that existed and left behind some of their infrastructure. Much of it is found excavating various sites.

What a nonsense. All living stucture on planet Earth have the same "language", the gene code. So all life here is "made on Earth". The name of one of the first flowers on our planet is by the way about 200,000 pages - if someone would print it out. The first flower was made about 214 million years ago. We don't know how this had happened and why but we know what it is. Not only we and Harry have a common ancestor. Also we and the banana which Harry eats have a common ancestor. Looks like "aliens" are only a kind of bananas which eat Harries - in our fantasy and films.
If something is made by nature and/or made from human beings we will find out what it is.
