I saw this leather sheath in a gun shop junk box and asked what it was for.....The owner did not know and said I could have it if I wanted it.
I thought it would be great to use to make sheaths for a couple Mora blades I had so I took it home.
I got to looking at it and thought it too well made/marked so I posted it on another form and a member said it was a Chinese Civil War era ('45-'49) sheath to fit either a Brit P1907 bayonet or an Arisaka bayonet.....He was right!
I happened to have a Siamese contract P-1907 bayonet without a sheath....Perfect fit!
I guess the Finn blades will have to wait for their leather.
