I gotta say, as a movie buff who frequently gets disappointed by so many offerings, this one absolutely blew me outta the water.
An acute qualifier: If you have an aversion to horror/slasher flicks - forget it.
But equally important: A taste for them isn't mandatory.
It's one of those rare films that grabs you from the very moment of the opening bell, to the last second.
And it's full of enough twists and turns to render ya dizzy.
And the bonus is that not only ain't it even remotely woke.
It's actually based.
