It is simple, in spite of the fact that the younger generation in Canada are clamouring for civil liberties and accountable police agencies as an economy free from their meddling IS increasingly popular. I believe even Canadian authorities were stunned when they realized that 43% of people under age 30 would support becoming American if it meant U.S citizenship, a defended and upheld Constitution and essentially being American overnight. They look at Trumps comments as an opportunity, not an insult. It is uncanny how through sheer chance or deliberate calculus, Trump taps into facts and sentiments we didnt realize existed in Canada. Many of us grew up watching Trump do interviews and be synonymous with success but he is far more in tuned to the world than we could have imagined. This latest poll may have been the most revealing of just how little faith the next generation of Canadians have on our sharply declining, unaccountable covert police state, especially in Ontario where poverty is rampant while the ballooning S.I.C and their friends eat well from the government trough. How many Canadians will be targeted for hoping the U.S and Trump succeed for them and the West? Far more than the average America could ever know. Canadians can be patriotic but at the same time also support Trump succeeding, especially on his overhaul of apparatuses to demand and support due process, fair justice and civil liberties as we know by osmosis Canada will bend, just as we became more in line with U.S values during the Reagan years. Trump should push premises of civil liberty so that even his detractors will have a difficult sell
