Depends on the widget. If there is no current plant or infrastructure for said widget it will take years to plan and build plants for widget. And then it still may not be profitable to make it here.

Not necessarily years in every case

Some widgets can be made in Thailand, India, or Vietnam, for instance

But hopefully others will be made in America again

It took years to harm our manufacturing base to the extent that we have

And it wont be fixed overnight

As long as we are trending up again and away from china thats a success
