On a serious note, at least in my neck of the woods, we have two council members on my town elected on the tea party platform, and while they both argued passionately that the borough's taxes are too high, only the mayor came up with any proposals to fight these taxes. And the mayor happens to be a democrat. For the record, he suggested consolidating a lot of departments with the county counterparts. Doubt it will happen, but still...

One of those council members since said she'll entertain the mayor's ideas. No plan, period, from the other.

I'd like to find a tea party politician at the local level with a plan. Even if its a bad plan, at least bring something to the table.
