So Firefox turned into a privacy violating advertising tool with no actual point whatsoever. What Google tried to implement in Chrome ("Privacy Sandbox") and then abandoned because of the negative feedback is now introduced in Firefox under the shiny name of "Privacy Preserving Attribution" (PPA).
It sends your data to the advertising industry. While Mozilla assures that users´ activities are not visible to anyone, including Mozilla itself, those who use Firefox for privacy reasons will probably look out for another browser.

In FF 128, the feature is enabled by default, not (yet) mentioned in the privacy policy and Mozilla does not specify what data they collect. And users get apparently not informed about the new "feature".

Browser market share 2012 - 2024 shows that Firefox already has a insignificantly low share and this will further add to the plight.

Good bye, Firefox. And it is clear that we need to get rid of personalized ads.
