The gun grabbers were on the edge of their seats as they heard about the active shooter that had murdered people in 3 separate locations.....they just could not wait to go on the internet and drag the innocent, dead victims onto the US.message board, still trailing blood....in order to condemn and attack normal gun owners.....you know, the people who didn't shoot anyone with any of their guns.....

And then...............

The shooter turned out to be a federal police officer.........

A federal law enforcement officer sought in the fatal shootings of his estranged wife at a school, a man at a mall parking lot and a woman outside a grocery store has been arrested, police in Maryland said Friday.

Eulalio Tordil, 62, was taken into custody without incident after police spotted him inside a business close to the grocery store, Montgomery County police Chief J. Thomas Manger said.
Police waited about an hour to make the arrest, fearing Tordil was armed, and closed in when he got into his vehicle, Manger said. A weapon was found in the vehicle, he said.

Tordil is an employee of the Federal Protective Service, which protects federal facilities and is part of Homeland Security.

He was placed on administrative duties in March after a protective order was issued against him, the FPS said.


Oh........and how did that Protective Order work out to keep him from getting a gun.......? Apparently, he bought a couple of Glock .40 pistols....while under the Protective Order....which means he is a prohibited person and not allowed to buy guns.......

And this is the exact thing we tell the anti gunners...it isn't the gun in the home that is the issue......it is the long history of violence that is the problem...

Put a gun in the home of a normal, law abiding, non violent citizen and they are not going to use their gun to murder their wife......

Suspect in Md. shooting kept guns after restrainer order

Sixty-two-year-old Eulalio Tordils a longtime law enforcement officer, but court documents suggest he's also a longtime abuser.

Sources with the Federal Protective Service tell WUSA Eulalio Tordil started working with the agency in 1997. But this year they made him turn over his badge and his gun. Because of this -- A restraining order his wife, Gladys, filed on March 17.

In it, Gladys Tordil claimed her husband physically abused her and their two teenage children..from 2006 to 2016, slapping them, shoving them, and threatening them with violence.

She claimed her husband, "subject[ed] the children to intense military like discipline, push ups, detention in dark closet(s)."

The document, seemingly written by Gladys - says Tordil once hit her so hard "my glasses broke on my face."

A judge ordered Tordil to have no contact with his family - and "surrender all firearms" to the police.

An official with the Federal Protective Service told WUSA9, they learned about the restraining order in March and that's when they placed Tordil on "administrative duties"
on leave."

Tell me about it. I live in Maryland. I attended and later coached at the school involved in this story and was about a mile away when this went down. Even the cops here recognize that the people who need guns the most are virtually not allowed to have them.
