The Irishman movie ???

I just watched it over 4 days

So many wonderful authentic screens and dialogue

My favorite are the scenes in the ceremony for teamsters Frank

Rus and Hoffa , then Rus and Frank then Frank and Hoffa
So intense and rich dialogue

If we can whack a president, we can whack a president of a union


Still this movie is slow and not for everyone.
The parts are good but the whole can be difficult to get though

8 bagels out of 10

( apparently when I was a kid a teacher got fired for writing in bagels next to the Jewish kids names ) . Not seeing this as bad

Yeah, The Irishman was a blast in the end.

The ending was the saddest part I have ever seen in movie history
The themes of mortality
Being helpless , old and weak
Dying Alone with nobody there

Seeing these powerful mobsters in prison being totally destroyed by age !!

So so sad that this js are future

I reviewed this somewhere on here.
The problem with the movie was the CGI "makeup" sucked.... bad.
At no part did DeNiro looked like a 30 year old guy. He looked like a freak of nature.
At times so did Pesci.
It took a lot away from the movie.
