Why are you going back to re-litigate an election a Republican "won"? Feeling a little guilty? There is no dispute here. Had we had this issue in the past election, those votes in FL would have been counted and the Democrat would have been declared President. Instead, the Supreme Court installed the Republican. Both candidates had different criteria they wanted for a recount. Gore wanted every ballot with a dimple rather than a full puncture to count. This, according to USA would of had him losing the election. The criteria that Bush wanted would of had Gore winning. Again this is a separate issue than the claim by Lott that Black Republicans were targeted. That isn't USA Today's analysis, that's Lott. What he fails to do is articulate how anyone making these decisions would know that the voter was Republican or Black.
