Why does the disappearance of a single person rise to the level of an international mystery? Shit happens. FBI traitor Robert Hanssen made about 1 1/2 million in cash selling the names of Russian informants and agents to his Russian handlers for almost 20 years. The were all executed and the FBI couldn't figure out what was happening at the time. He was finally arrested and died in federal prison.
