Superbowl champion QB Russel Wilson,
RB second only to Derek Henry, Najee Harris
One of the best combat catch WRs George Pickins born with Velcro hands,
One of if not the best edge rusher in the league TJ Watt,
And maybe the most accurate, consistent FG kicker in the league, Chris Boswell,
and a whole plethora of other great players! 6-2, and the two games they lost to Indy and the Cowboys they only lost to lucky last minute FGs.

ONLY ONE TEAM IN ALL THE NFL with a better record and that is the Chiefs.

Knocked down the Falcons, the Broncos, the Chargers, the Raiders, the Jets, and the Giants.
Steelers are leading the AFC North, heading for the Playoffs.

Will be knocking on the doors of the Bills next! The Unstoppable Steelers! This may be their year again!

Embrace the Black & Gold.

Bah. KC will end them.

Bah. KC will end them.

KC has barely been beating mediocre teams this year. In fact, I heard a while back that Mahomes' QB rating at that time was less than the back-up QB that the Steelers played their first six games, and I've heard even pro color sports analysts express surprise that KC wasn't playing up to their usual expectations.

Right now, I give KC even odds of ending up in the Super Bowl much less winning it, there are several other good teams out there like the Vikings, Detroit, the Bills, Eagles, Baltimore, and possibly the Steelers.

Steelers beat the Giants on MNF last night 26-18. The Giants put up a hell of a battle despite their losing record. But the Steelers also had two TDs taken away from them, literally caught right in the middle of the end zone, for specious penalties and a third TD missed only because of a miscommunication by the receiver due to it only being their main QB's 2nd game back playing with the team. If not for those two penalties, the score might have/should have been 34-18.

The Steelers look to be on an upward trek and now they get a week off for their Bye to heal up and regroup. The remainder of the season is mostly with teams in their own division, two of which stink (Cincinnati and Cleveland), which accounts for four of those games, the only other non-divisional games are with the Redskins, the Eagles, and on Christmas Day--- Kansas City must come to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers at home. :SMILEW~130:

Pat Mahomes vs. Russell Wilson.

It is looking very good that the Steelers will be in the Playoffs and I bet they win at least one of them.

Mike Tomlin is an awesome coach. This coming from a chiefs fan...

Frankly, I haven't liked the guy most of his career, he is only now starting to reverse my opinion. For years, I begged that the Steelers would replace him.
  • When he took over, he won a Super Bowl based mostly on a team that Bill Cowher had built before him.
  • On his own, he hasn't actually done that well in the post season.
  • He kept Roethlistberger around about 5-6 years longer than he should have despite Ben's own admission he should retire.
  • He never really gave Mason Rudolph a chance to prove himself.
  • He hired an offensive coordinator with no NFL experience! Then was surprised he didn't pan out and fired him mid-season after holding onto him way too long.
  • He picked Kenny Pickett to be his starter QB just because Pickett played at Pitt and they shared the same building and often ran into each other in the lunch room.
  • He hired Mitch Trubisky to be his new starting QB again passing over Rudolph, then when Pickett became available, passed over both of them. Pickett turned out to be a lackluster QB who got seriously injured every time a tackler got near him.
  • Tomlin often displays horrible time management and game play judgement.
But a lot of that seems to finally be turning around this season. The Steelers actually have a great potential this year both offensively and defensively if they can avoid any devastating injuries--- they have a very strong QB who can put the ball anywhere on the field, WRs who can bring it in, fierce running backs, great TEs, and a strong O line. The defense has some of the best defenders in the business with a really strong supporting cast of good players who often turn up big plays. Even their Special Teams is playing momentously.

So, the combined record of the teams they have beaten is 15 and 24.

The Steelers do it again. They are now 8-2 and at the top of the AFC North 3 games ahead of Baltimore.

The Steelers just beat the NFL's top rated offense in the league, held them to a mere 16 points (almost only 10) and they did it without even scoring a single TD.

When the offense has a bad day, their defense rises to the occasion.
Then look out, their special teams will kill you.
Steelers are very well rounded and firing on all 8 cylinders.

I'll say it again--- Steelers might not win the Super Bowl or even go to it, but they are shaking hard at that door.

Expect them in the Playoffs.

They're definitely in the driver's seat for the division. And quietly just a game back of home field. Not always the prettiest team to watch, but they get the job done. Tomlin does need some consideration for Coach of the Year for having this team in this position.

Nearly their entire second half of the season now is playing their division rivals. The exceptions are the Eagles and the Chiefs. After beating Baltimore on Sunday, they only get three days to rest before going to Cleveland this Thursday night. Cleveland is a bombed out team with no hope, but it will be interesting to see how the Steelers can rally playing two games in only four days with everything on the line for Cleveland.

All the Steelers need now is to improve their red zone offense TD capability to bring it up to the same level as their defense and special teams and they could be a real threat going into the Playoffs.

Harris is not better than Saquon, CMC, Jacob’s, Gibbs or Robinson.

I got into a back & forth w/ someone out here who lives in Pittsburg or's a fan of the team! Overall I haven't paid much attn. to the team, but they've obviously been the most consistent ever! The fact they've only had a handful of coaches since their inception is quite noteworthy! Some teams would have that many in a decade alone! Like KC, Pitts' just getting it done in all facets of the game w/ new life in Wilson! Can't wait for the playoffs! :meow::stir::oops:
