On a hill
This is a good one.
The story of a deeply troubled young man, in a relationship with an equally troubled young woman... living on the road playing small gigs in run down dives... dreams of albums and success. That will never come.
But then he develops a disease where he loses his hearing.
Sounds predictable and meh... and it is a little predictable, but character development is done very well and the storyline keeps you there.

Streaming on Prime Video.

I watched it and enjoyed it.

I always wondered about the statement of the deaf guy who ran the transitional center for the deaf. He said that he doesn't see deafness as a problem that needs to be fixed.

I'm of the mind that if it can be fixed then a person should have that option.

I kinda thought the same, but maybe they don't work for everyone I don't know.
Also I looked up does insurance pay for implants, and all major health insurance and medicare/aid all pay for them. Wasn't awesome they threw that in there as well.
