Behold: Your tax dollars were spent to give counseling to government workers who were upset that the Bad Orange Man won the election.

Trump is threatening to decimate the federal workforce.
Employees are rightfully concerned.

It's a different generation. Do we.blame the individual or their surroundings? Difficult to say.

Yes, I was concerned when the company I worked for was operating in the red and had to do massive layoffs. I was caught up in it, and eventually found a new job. Such is life.

Time for fed workers to join the real world.

Republicans are about to join the real world and find out what happens when you make massive cuts without considering the impact.

Cutting redundant positions and waste/abuse will save us a fortune.

No longer will we pay government workers $150,000 a year to go to the movies, get in the front 9 of golf, take tennis lessons, swim laps, and run errands all on the taxpayers’ money.

Trump is dead at on creating another recession.
Laying off a shitload of parasites will have negative effects on the economy
Already mentioned elsewhere
To what degree we'll soon find out
Hopefully

They can go be baristas while they learn to code

While my career (1973-2016) may have been unusual, the threat of layoffs was a very regular occurrence - a stressful one to be sure - but I never saw any employer offer pity sessions. The best we got was placement assistance.

Government workers at all levels believe in their hearts that they are entitled to that job, along with its early, cushy retirement, and "nobody" has any right to fuck with that entitlement. The stressfulness of Trump's ascent is no greater than the rest of us have to experience at regular intervals.

And keep in mind that US Government workers very rarely lose their jobs. If they are RIF'd, they are offered "super-seniority" in the pursuit of any other government position for which they are even remotely qualified, and most government layoffs are actually beneficial to the employee in the long run.

Besides Trump who else paid by the government does that?

At least half of all government workers. I’m surrounded by them. And they LAUGH about it on the line at the movies, or at the swimming pool. And when they’re required to go into DC once a week, they bitch and moan about it.

Private employers do not offer pity sessions
But with a major layoff on the horizon and the workforce in a frenzy, they will call everyone together, blow sunshine up their ass and lie their heads off.

You are surrounded by all the government workers in the USA, I highly doubt that. My third wife does government processing at home because she is paralyzed from the waist down but you demand she goes to an office to work when it can be done at home
The computers they use are govt issued and one must use the ID provided to log in, activity is recorded and monitored to observe activity by the supervisor. In no way can she not do her job
