The USA has 342m folk, UK 68m folk, so about 5 times as many. So 3,690 serial killers divide by 5 equals is 738 but the UK had/has 196.

So if you wanted to beak it down per capita, the USA is probably still number 1.

So what are people's reasons behind this?

The most amount or the highest percentage rate?
For instance, the US has a population of about 330 million people.
England has a population of about 57 million people.
An equal rate of 1% would give the US a much larger total number.
And also, some countries are so backwards that they are not collecting crime statistics.
Latin America seems to be the most violent region.

Attitude. We rate up there with Afghanistan and Yemen in gun ownership. Very different from the Swiss attitude towards gun ownership.

And my thread is why? Why so many, what creates so many serial killers?

And why America, why not anywhere else? Why wasn't most per capita, say, Japan, or New Zealand etc.. Why America?
