This Is For Everybody Complaining About The Tariffs

Hard work pays off!! I already posted this picture in another thread but this is why I don't get why people are complaining about the tariffs so much. I got this T-shirt as soon as I saw what it said. Is it really all that difficult to make our own products like this? We have done it before so why is it such an issue now to work out a deal? OhPleaseJustQuit JGalt

PS. The other thread was more of like a shopping thread and this is more of an economic thread so that's why I have two similar topics.

I could make a reasonable facsimile of that shirt right in my basement craft room, if I had the right sewing machine. I could do some of it on my 125-year-old Singer treadle machine that was made in Elizabethport NJ. We have textile mills in USA, including thread manufacturers. I think we have needle manufacturers. It might take a while to get up and running with the manufacture of some of the parts for making the machine that's used to make the images and printing on the shirt.

Not insurmountable as long as we don't listen to the whiners who don't want it to be possible.

We can make almost anything in American if we shut off the left cult dems trying to convince us it can't be done.

We just need to cut off the ties from China. China isn't one of our allies. Why do bidding with one of our enemy countries? Especially when a lot of their products are crappy anyways?


That's why I wanted to start a real discussion about it as I don't understand it and I don't think that has anything to do with my learning disability, it has everything to do with me having common sense and a lot of not most of the people in America not having it.
