The people who made Trayvon Martin into an Urban Folk Hero and George Zimmerman into an Urban Devil, have turned a tragic confrontation between a community activist/property owner and a thuggish teenager/young man into a travelling sideshow for business, for travel, for profit.

Zimmerman gets into news again. The fool was within his rights on that tragic day, but unprepared to face the real life consequences of pulling out a weapon during a physical confrontation. Police interviews and court testimony show this to be reality.

He also was unawre during the interview that Trayvon was a late-teen, young man and that Trayvon had died. George must have thought movies, television, and blowhardo gun nuts online reflect real world ugliness. He found tge truth the hard way.

Benjamin Crump, the attorney for the Martin family, was at Harvard Law School Monday with the teen's mother Sybrina Fulton to speak at symposium about his legacy and self-defense laws.

Crump said they found out about Zimmerman's arrest from television reports. He said the news of the arrest didn't affect their mood because they are focused on discussing ways to reform self-defense laws.

"They're focused on how we can all better deal with conflict resolution. But there is a certain irony in that while they were doing that, at basically the same time that incident was happening with their son's killer," Crump said in a phone interview.
