President Trump is expected to announce on Thursday that the United States will strike a trade agreement with Britain, according to three people familiar with the plans.
Mr. Trump teased a new trade agreement in a social media post on Wednesday night, though he did not specify which nation was part of the deal.

“Big News Conference tomorrow morning at 10:00 A.M., The Oval Office, concerning a MAJOR TRADE DEAL WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF A BIG, AND HIGHLY RESPECTED, COUNTRY. THE FIRST OF MANY!!!” he wrote.

A spokesman for the White House declined to comment beyond Mr. Trump’s post. A spokesman for the British Embassy in Washington did not respond to a request for comment."

My thoughts are India or the UK. If it's the UK I will be highly impressed. If it's India, then still, not bad. If he gets these deals rolling, I'll be more limited about my criticism of the Tariffs, though the tactics could use some work.

Is Trump allowed to make trade deals? What does Judge Boasberg have to say about this?

Last I heard, all presidents can do or are good for is to ink the bills passed by Congress into law.

Of course, it is impossible to ever get the GOP to agree on anything, and because of that, they need democrat votes, which they rarely get. So the GOP rarely passes any bills for the president to sign.

Which in effect reduces DJT to little more than an orange paperweight in the Oval Office.

Maybe we need Joe back in office--- he knew how to get things done.

Is it tiring hating Trump 24/7?

Nah. Most of my day is spent on projects, especially in the spring. Pool is back open. I just complete 14 sections of two-sided arch topped fencing, except for staining that has to wait until after the rainy season. Other than that, I'm doing a lot of reading. I just finished Past Tense by Lee Child and am about to start Blue Moon, also by Lee Child. Kayaking will start back after I get caught up on my spring project settled. I want to finish the last segments of the Forked Deer and Obion to the Mississippi River. All the kids and grandkids are coming in, this weekend, for Mother's Day. I'm known for being very active, and rarely tired.

Considering Trump and Republicans openly rooted for Biden to fail and in regards to the border made certain Biden couldn't pass a landmark immigration bill, all MAGATS need to STFU. We don't really face a huge tree imbalance. The way the world operates is that there are some things we do well, and some things others do well. Trump seems to think the entire world should owe us, and that's just not going to happen.

I’m hearing the same rumor, but how can there be a trade deal with Great Britain without a debate in Parliament?

The short answer is, there is no trade deal with Great Britain because nothing has been debated in Parliament.

No major nation can complete a trade deal in a couple of weeks and without debate or consent of Parlyament.
