Trump is doing what the voters want him to do

Shouldn't he deliver on his campaign promises? Americans want the migrants out. The sooner the better.

---But on deporting millions of people, he went into detail---

Has Trump kept his day one promises?

Donald Trump made a lot of promises while running for president. He pledged to cut taxes, reduce prices, stem undocumented migration, end wars and strengthen American industry...

Reducing prices

What he's said:

"When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on day one." Aug 2024

What he's done:

This is perhaps his biggest challenge and a major campaign promise that remains undelivered. In his inaugural address, Trump promised to "marshal the vast powers" of his Cabinet to rapidly bring down costs and prices, but it's unclear how. One way, he says, is by increasing drilling to reduce energy costs....

Ending Ukraine War

What he's said:

"They're dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I'll have that done - I'll have that done in 24 hours." May 2023

What he's done:

Trump has initiated the first talks between the US and Russia since the start of the war, but Ukraine has vowed to reject any deal hatched without it, and there's been an angry exchange between leaders. President Volodymyr Zelensky fears the US president delivering on his campaign promise to end the war but on Moscow's terms and with no security guarantees. There is also anxiety in European capitals that they are being sidelined, and that Trump may dismantle some of the sanctions imposed on Russia as punishment for the invasion....

Hector doesn't realize it, but getting the vermin out of this country was always the number one priority for the new administration.

He has to keep his promises. His legacy and credibility will be celebrated. His transparency of government has already earned him large support. Only the 1%ers dislike him because he calls out their B.S and poor policies. All of which, have only helped China and the 1%ers.

It's that simple really

The Ukraine War is up to Zelensky. President Trump would have a peace deal, but Zelensky wants to sacrifice all the Christians in his country first. He’s insane. He’s a dictator. Unless President Trump removes dictator Zelensky, there may be no peace.

If you look at the actual numbers of deportations, so far in his second term the rate of deportations is actually lower than other presidents before him. This is not my opinion, you can look up the numbers yourself.

Here's a summary from Grok:

Conclusion
As of April 27, 2025, Trump’s second-term deportation numbers (100,000 in 80 days, projecting to ~456,250 annually) are lower than Biden’s (1 million/year), Obama’s (662,500/year), Bush’s (1.287 million/year), and Clinton’s (1.537 million/year). Percentage-wise, Trump’s projected 4.1% annual rate (of the undocumented population) is below Biden (9.1%), Obama (6.0%), Bush (11.7%), and Clinton (14.0%), and slightly below his first term (4.3%). In the first ~100 days, Trump’s ~0.9% trails Obama (1.4–1.8%) and Bush/Clinton (~2.3–3.6%).

Another thing that many here don't realize is that the government allowed the border problem to happen in order to be used as a pretext for the pre-planned "solution"..... more authoritarian Orwellian policies, like a digital ID, mass surveillance, a biometric tracking system, etc. Problem - Reaction - Solution.

And btw, he's not actually deporting all illegals, per his own words:

(The pertinent part starts at 22 seconds in)

Did they want a trade war with the world? No.
Yes. And a return of manufacturing with good paying jobs.

A tax cut to overtime and SS was a bonus and I'd take either or both.

I'd like to add that he should change the tax filing status of the Media and force their license into advocacy group status and open them up to being sued for intentional lying.

Oh for goodness sake. No one is coming, yet we're still deporting....

I got into a heated argument with my brother today. If 51% are happy keep doing what you are doing. But trump is hearing from his supporters. He’s messing with our order in the world.

But you can’t talk to these people. Something bad has to happen. And even then they’ll say give it more time

Trump has the worst numbers of any president in the first 100 days. My brother says that’s fake news. That tells me a lot of people who voted for trump realize we weren’t kidding about him. And he wasn’t kidding about being a dictator
