In case you haven't noticed, President Trump has masterly handled the Ukraine situation by pitting Europe against Russia while he plays the role of a peace negotiator. Europe knows that Ukraine can't win the war without US military assistance, and Russia knows it can't lose the war if it is withheld. Unless Europe is foolish enough to start a wider war with Russia, it will soon come to its senses and realize that pouring more euros down that rat hole will accomplish nothing good. Correspondingly, Russia is willing to stop fighting once Ukraine's membership in NATO is dismissed (and Ukrainian troops have been expelled from the Kursk region).
Once again, the President holds the Trump Card. If he withholds military aid, Ukraine will have to settle with Russia. If he resumes it, both countries will bleed to death. If other European countries try to expand the war, he will tell them to FAFO. As a result, he has made peace the only option. Good job, Mr. President!
