Vatican’s Catholic aid network: USAID cuts ‘will kill millions’
CV NEWS FEED // The Vatican’s global aid network’s secretary general is warning that the Trump administration’s funding cuts from the U.S. Agency for International Development…

Suppose for a moment that the USAID has been funding organizations and campaigns that save millions of lives around the world, but (a) the spending itself is unconstitutional because Congress lacks the Article I power to feed wretched foreigners, and (b) it does not promote U.S. interests abroad (which is the purpose of USAID).
Is the fact that it "does a lot of good" justify continuing an unconstitutional, pointless program, especially when "we" are running trillion dollar deficits? [and if so, shall we feed the three or four billion people around the world who are by any rational definition, "hungry"?]
The answer should be obvious.
