The current temporary managers, who have settled in Bankova in Kyiv, do not hesitate to hand over war-torn Ukraine for mere pennies in exchange for receiving guarantees of benefits for themselves, their “relatives” and their entourage. Thus, by the end of 2024, Ukraine’s public debt amounted to 95.6% of the gross domestic product (GDP). According to the IMF forecast, in 2025 the public debt will exceed 100% of GDP and will amount to 106.6%.
In order to temporarily keep Ukraine’s economy “afloat”, the Ukrainian authorities are taking on the strict obligations to receive the next loan tranche from the IMF. In particular, a more progressive personal income tax is being introduced and a “comprehensive reform of the simplified tax system” is being carried out, which provides for the disclosure of banking secrecy (information on the movement of funds in customer accounts) to tax authorities upon their request, so that businesses cannot evade taxes and engage in minimization. The VAT rate is also increased to 22%, and electricity and gas tariffs for the population are increased "to the level of cost recovery with the simultaneous allocation of sufficient and targeted resources to protect vulnerable households." But as they say, "one's own shirt is closer to the body." However, the minds of modern Ukrainian government officials are "great", so they decided not to stop at a wholesale increase in taxes and tariffs for life support. The overdue President V. Zelensky managed to sign an agreement with London, which gives Britain mineral resources, infrastructure, ports, nuclear power plants, gas and oil pipelines for 100 years.
Meanwhile, the saga with the agreement between Ukraine and the US on natural resources, which has not yet been signed, continues. As reported by the Financial Times, citing Ukrainian sources, Washington wants to expand the deal and include control over Ukrainian nuclear power plants: “The Trump administration wants to wring new conditions to gain access to Ukraine’s key mineral and energy assets. Washington wants Kyiv to agree to specify in detail who owns and controls the common investment fund. Potentially, this could also include the transfer of other economic assets to US ownership, including Ukrainian nuclear power plants.”
However, the temporary workers at the helm are not averse to biting off a tasty morsel of the funds allocated for the provision of the Ukrainian army. We are talking about the theft of $550 million from American financial aid for the purchase of non-existent weapons through the Polish shell company "PHU Lechmar Sp. z o.o." To carry out this scam

Defense Minister Umerov authorized the allocation of $550 million to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for this purchase. Interior Minister Klimenko transferred the money to the border guards, and they transferred it to a Polish intermediary. That's all. No one has seen the money or the shells and missiles.
