As U.S. ports begin to empty and retailers brace for impact, experts warn that we are just beginning to feel the ripple effects of President Donald Trump's new 145% tariffs on Chinese goods. While social media buzz paints an exaggerated picture of ghost ports, the underlying supply chain disruption is very real — and it could soon hit home for American consumers.

Leave it to trump to screw up a good economy. He listened to the jailbird, Navarro. And now the docks are emptying and consumers will begin feeling the pain...especially the MAGA red state people. Cry a River!

trump thinks manufacturing will suddenly reappear. He is a stupid man. Felons will be Felons...

Job numbers were better than expected and wall street came back yesterday. Buy American and you won't suffer, but we know you really want America to suffer. You loons are pathetic.

You don't get it. President Trump is currently working new trade deals with all of our trading partners as we speak.

We are going to have free and fair trade, and even from Red China, who will realize they are getting crushed.

Funny, but the jobs numbers yesterday were great, egg prices are down, gas is down .40 cents a gallon Nationally from Joe Biden and Consumer confidence is up.

Yet, to you Dims, everything is bad. Wonder why? :D

Another issue the media fails to mention is how this makes a problem for US exports. During COVID, freighters were stacking up at US ports waiting to unload and over half of them were leaving unloaded because they raced back to Asia for more import loads. Now there won't be many freighters entering the ports to unload.

Talk about a turbulent trade imbalance.

Enjoy the moment. It won't last long. The Felon in Chief has seen to that.

I know the media and liberals wanna try to beat up Trump for everything they can think of every day of the week. I’m not that concerned about this. I will still be able to get pretty much what I want as I did during the pandemic, time to hold these countries accountable!

How can liberals not support less shipping which is 100% better for the climate then regulating after cow farts and gas stoves?

It will be much worse than the pandemic. Stagflation is gonna make you squeal. And China may start calling in all those US bonds.

Much of those imports are just decorations for women, shoes, purses, etc. and toys for kids. There is useful stuff as well.

The debt caused by the trade deficit is said to be about $100,000 per person. However, as only half of us actually pay taxes mine doubles to $200,000. If all my taxes went to my share of the debt it would take ten years to pay it off (if no more debt is added). :(

Highly unlikely, I will be able to buy whatever I want as I always have. I understand some people might live month-to-month or check to check that is not my problem in life, sucks to be them.😉
