address a problem that they have created. Parenting apparently needs more official "help" to effectively raise the kids at the impressionable age before their patterns are set. The get em while they're young theory. More good intentions, I guess, but usually the good sounding package hides a lot of mischief. I don't like the sound of this at all. https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/parents-under-pressure.pdf

Well were it not for the leftist strings attached to anything regarding education I could see a tax break for those that enroll their kids in a learning daycare.....Even more so than the child tax credit.

However, the .gov is not here to help and the Marxists would hold sway so I guess parents will just have to suck it up and make (gasp!) sacrifices to do it themselves as I would never vote for the .gov to get involved in infant-Pre-K matters.

Most parents, and some grandparents, are products of the 1960's drug culture and sexual revolution. Most of the blame lies at their feet. Of course, the government is also a product of those times.

The destruction of the traditional core family, and the elimination of the extended family has created a whole lot of narcissistic kids who are peer raised and a lot of them are on SSRI meds for behavior control and be mother's little helpers. Between the nanny government and uninvolved parents the outcome isn't good.

As recently as the 1950's and 60's, any parent who sent his/her kid to school hungry because there was no food or who abused, neglected or failed to control wayward children were in serious jeopardy of losing those children until they were ready and willing and able to effectively parent them. And because most Americans shared similar values and basic concepts of how a society should be, it was fairly rare that a child would be taken out of a home that couldn't properly care for him/her.

Parents were expected to love, feed, clothe, house and discipline their children and raise them with values that equipped them to become self sufficient, productive, useful citizens.

Since the onset of irresponsible liberalism/progressivism however coupled with rampant alcoholism/drug addiction, children are too often left with irresponsible parents who 'let the child' decide what is best for him/her long before he/she is mentally or emotionally ready for that responsibility and/or pretty much ignores them. And such children are open vessels for indoctrination by a state intent on indoctrinating rather than educating them.

Just fire all the liberal teachers and administrators.
Replace them all with conservatives.
Problem solved.
