Just follow Uncle Joe's 'Road of Bones' through Siberia.
You can't miss it, if you survive the journey.

In Oymiakon - a tiny village in Central Siberia - it's so cold your eyelashes freeze together and you're constantly on guard against frostbite. If it's warmer than minus 55 degrees Celsius ( -67 F ), then it's a good day.

We hit -60 in Tower, Mn a few years back. Frequently hit -30 actual temps in the Twin Cities.
It takes a certain ruggedness to be able to handle those temperatures. I work outdoors and after the first bitter cold snap, I become rather acclimated to the cold temperatures.
When spring arrives you will see people wearing shorts in 40 degree temperatures as it feels 70 degrees warmer than winter.

So, that road was built with a million prisoners, one for every three feet, in effect, slaves, free labor worked to death in either freezing conditions or swampy mosquitoes. Where is the outcry for reparations? Has there ever been riots or condemnation of the Soviets or politicians calling for bills to repay the families? Don't Russian Lives Matter?
