"Volodymyr Zelenskyy: “I will never accept any decisions between the USA and Russia” About Peace in Ukraine

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appears on Meet the Press to discuss his position toward ending the conflict with Russia. Within the conversation [04:11], Zelenskyy said, “I will never accept any decisions between the United States and Russia about Ukraine.”

President Zelenskyy represents the interests of the European Union, multinational corporations, various elements of NATO memberships, the World Economic Forum, the CIA division within the U.S. State Dept., western banks and a confab of various western intelligence operations. After that, he represents the interests of Ukrainians. This is why he will not permit elections.

The looming confrontation between President Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, along with all the aforementioned interests Zelenskyy supports, is going to be something very interesting."

If Zelenskyy does not want a peace agreement, then let Zelenskyy Russia without US funding. The EU can pay for the war.

Seems Mr Z is running out of options......~S~

I guess, if you think selling out allies is a good idea for the US.

I guess some of you don't remember the 1970's, where people talked about the USSR winning because a series of feckless presidents kept throwing long-term US allies under the bus.

Here's the problem. Any peace agreement that involves giving up territory pretty much turns Ukraine into a Russian client. If the US can't be trusted to uphold their commitments, countries might start turning to Russia or even worse, China as an ally.

But all Trump remembers is that he tried to shake Zelenskyy down for dirt on Biden, and his own staff ratted him out.

We committed to no eastward expansion of NATO before we committed to mortgaging our children's future for Ukraine.

If you believe it was worthwhile you should have seen it was paid for. You know "make the rich pay their fair share".

Zelensky is compromised. As soon as the war is over, he is out of office. He has cancelled elections, conscripted men involuntarily, persecuted opposing factions including religious groups, and his approval ratings among those who remain is under water.

Trump and Vance have both said that he will be a part of the negotiations. What they have not said is that they will not allow him to be an impediment to peace. And there's the rub.

Trump promised to quickly end this war. While it is not entirely within his control, he is doing what he promised to do, as he always does.

Leftists hate him for it.

And lest anyone forget, American Presidents have PROMISED Russia that they would never support NATO membership for Ukraine. Doesn't it mean anything that Trump is keeping the promise of his predecessors?

Trump promised he'd end war in Ukraine before taking office. Now? He 'might.' | Opinion

they've historically been just that Joe.....~S~

Except now they don't want to be. You are the dumbest poster on the board.

How does any peace that doesn't involve a return to the 2014 borders end up being a win for anyone except Putin?

Past presidents didn't have to deal with a Russia that actually invaded Ukraine, so they could refuse NATO membership to it.

Now, frankly, I don't see any path to a lasting peace that doesn't involve Ukrainian membership in NATO.

When did we commit to this?

We've hardly "mortgaged our future" on Ukraine. Let's not be hysterical here. We've spent 183 Billion over three years. Out a budget of 7 Trillion. Ukraine is hardly our lunch money at this point.

If Trump sells out Ukraine, look for a lot of countries to look to China as their new ally. The Chinese at least keep their commitments.

China isn't going to fund their war.

China isn't going to fund their war.

No, but a bunch of other countries that were US allies might realize China is more reliable than America.

"My support is good until the next election" isn't much of a commitment.

Hey, the Chinese don't have elections!!! Their commitment is solid!

the old cold war mentality doesn't fit Joe.....~S~
