We have to give those Kurds credit for fighting so hard to save that city. Can you imagine what the Kurds could do with modern weaponry?

The Kurdish militias have been aided significantly by U.S. airstrikes in recent days, but analysts and Kurdish officials say it is the Kurds' refusal to quit that is proving decisive.

With dwindling supplies, the Kurdish force has held out for weeks against the heavily armed militants, who have largely isolated the city, outnumber the Kurds and continue to send in reinforcements.

If Obama and his cronies had an ounce of common sense they'd be arming and financing the Kurds to the teeth with the latest weapons and technology, and giving them the best air support the world offers. The Kurds are fighting for their land, homes, and families, and they are smart legendary warriors. Hardly any training is necessary, and they won't drop their weapons and run like the paid conscripts of the Iraqi army with no dog in the fight.

The Kurds can bring the Islamist animals of ISIS to their knees, no other "ground force" is needed.
