Link above. What can be learned here? Of course, the venue operator is a scumbag, and that goes without saying. But perhaps a KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) philosophy is in order here. Anyone who spends $52,000 to book a wedding venue needs their head examined. These are the same type of people who are then wondering why they are still working well into their 60's or 70's. No financial discipline.

I second what you say about keeping it simple. To me, anyone who spends too much on the first day of marriage is only asking for there to be a not so flattering ending later on in life.

God bless you and the three ladies who were scammed always!!!

Holly

P.S. I wonder if all three ladies were charged the same amount and why nothing more was done after the first lady filed her complaint about the venue.

You can say the same about those who dropped $70-80K for a car.
